Background and experience: I was fortunate to have been born and raised in this incredible location on the Pacific Coast of California, which includes such well-known destinations as Carmel, Monterey and Pebble Beach. I hale from one of the oldest farming families in the Salinas Valley who established themselves here in the early 1900's. I graduated from Palma High School in Salinas and have a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University. I served as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Bay Ridge Homeowners association of Monterey for 6 years and as Co-Chair for the local real estate board government affairs committee for 2 years. I also have a wealth of financial and contract knowledge from my 15 years of service within the agro-business community as Chief Financial Officer and Contract Manager for a local firm.
